Welcome to the First Annual Beyond the Burgh: Night to Give charity event! Our Night to Give is an evening full of entertainment, appetizers, drinks and raffle prizes on Friday May 12th at the Ace Hotel in Pittsburgh! The purpose is to raise funds and donations for International Rescue Committee and raise awareness to global humanitarian needs and pursuit of equality. International Rescue Committee’s mission is to help people who are affected by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.
The Pittsburgh community is one that always looks to help it’s fellow members that are less fortunate. Beyond the Burgh will allow us to do our small part to make a big impact to those in need around the globe. We will work to ensure every person has the same opportunity to live peacefully and find aid in areas of crisis and disaster. This includes those families that must live through crisis with no option but to persevere and those that are refugees escaping challenges abroad. Your support provides uprooted families with medical care, clean water, sanitation, education, women’s protection services and other vital aid.
Our vision for 2017 is to view every life as an equal human life with the same opportunity to live peacefully regardless of their place of birth. Event Details: Included with ticket are heavy hors d'oeuvres, entertainment and 1 drink ticket per person valid for a draft beer. Cash bar will be available throughout the evening (credit card tabs available). Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event for an amazing assortment of prizes that will be announced later into the evening. Music DJ & Hosting provided by Fireside Events.
